Desktop Optimizer
|

|
 The Desktop Optimizer allows you to perform several
functions to improve the performance of the Lotus Notes client. The
items included in the Desktop Optimizer will resolve the most
common issues experienced by Lotus Notes users.
Run Desktop Optimizer
To run the utility, first open the Desktop Optimizer by clicking on
Desktop Optimizer from the Tools menu:
- System Tray
- Right-click on the NotesMedic Toolkit™ icon (
 ) in the system tray.
- Click on Desktop Optimizer.
- Tools Menu
- Open the NotesMedic Toolkit™ application.
- Click Desktop Optimizer from the Tools menu.
The following dialog box will appear on your screen:
Check the options you would like to perform, then click the Run
button.
NOTE: The first time you run the Desktop Optimizer with Fixup,
Updall, or Compact selected you will be prompted for the password
of the current Lotus Notes user ID. The password will then be set
in the Password Bi-Pass Settings.
